About Blueberry's Grill — Wilmington

Blueberry's Grill in Wilmington is at Lumina Station, a coastal shopping village a few minutes from Wrightsville Beach. We serve made-to-order breakfast, brunch, and lunch from a bright dining room and a covered patio set among the gardens.

Our Story: From Little River to Lumina Station

The brand started with two close friends from Little River, South Carolina — a young restaurant operator and a U.S. veteran who'd spent his career in the restaurant equipment business. They named it after the younger partner's mother and her love of flowers and blueberry trees, and built it on a few simple rules: fresh ingredients, treat everyone like a regular, rework the classics with care.Wilmington was the brand's first stop across the North Carolina line, opening at Lumina Station in 2022. The garden setting and the pull of Wrightsville Beach made it a natural fit. Today it's a local brunch spot — families starting the day, students slowing down, visitors eating before the beach.

The menu comes from <strong>Darell Ariola</strong>, Culinary Creative Consultant, who shapes the food across all three Blueberry's Grill locations and works as Kitchen Lead. It blends <strong>coastal Carolina</strong> flavors with <strong>Southern</strong> comfort. A favorite here is the <strong>Blueberry Crème Brûlée French Toast</strong>, alongside the famous <strong>Blueberry Hushpuppies</strong>, benedicts with house-made sauces, <strong>Charleston shrimp</strong> & grits, the skillets, and lighter Mediterranean-leaning plates. Gluten-friendly and lactose-friendly substitutions are available.
