Our Story in Wilmington

Blueberry’s Grill began with two close friends who met in Little River, SC: a young, restaurant-driven operator and a U.S. veteran with decades of restaurant-equipment experience. Sharing a vision for warm hospitality and thoughtfully prepared food, they created the brand. The name ‘Blueberry’s’ was inspired by the younger partner’s mother and her love of flowers and blueberry trees. As the brand grew, Wilmington became the perfect location, drawn by its lively brunch culture. This restaurant was designed to feel connected to Lumina Station’s gardens, the nearby beach, and coastal North Carolina’s welcoming spirit. Our guiding principles remain: Use fresh, quality ingredients, Treat every guest like a regular, Craft dishes that balance comfort and creativity. Today, Blueberry’s Grill Wilmington is a local favorite for brunch, where families start their day, students relax, and visitors enjoy a memorable meal before the beach.
