Blueberry's Grill is a scratch-made breakfast, brunch, and lunch restaurant with three homes on the Carolina coast: Grande Dunes in Myrtle Beach, Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach, and Lumina Station in Wilmington, North Carolina. It started in 2017 with two friends and a simple promise, and we've kept it ever since: every plate is cooked the moment you order it.

A Name That Started at Home

Our Story

Before there was a menu, there was a name. The younger founder's mother loved flowers and blueberry trees, and the name Blueberry's grew from that love. We like what it says about a restaurant: it came from family, and it's meant to be shared. Today you'll find blueberries all over the menu, from the hushpuppies to the pancakes.

Three Rules, Still on Every Table

The founders started with three rules: use fresh, quality ingredients; treat every guest like a regular; and rework the classics with care. Here's what they look like on an ordinary morning. A dog on the patio gets a cold water bowl for the asking. We seat your party together once everyone has arrived, so the table starts the meal as one. If you need gluten-friendly, you get the honest answer: substitutions are available, and because our kitchen is shared, we'll never promise what we can't guarantee. And the plate in front of you was started when you ordered it, not a minute before.

One Standard,
Three Kitchens

Blueberry's Grill serves one menu at all three locations, from Blueberry Hushpuppies to benedicts, skillets, and a lunch lineup that runs until 3 p.m. What changes is the setting.

The People
Behind the Plates

Darell Ariola, our Culinary Creative Consultant, shapes the menu across all three locations and works as Kitchen Lead; Mia Recto helped him produce it. Enea Qeva, our Regional Manager, looks after all three restaurants, so a morning in Wilmington holds to the same standard as one in Myrtle Beach. And around them are the crews in every kitchen and dining room: the people our regulars greet by name.

Two Friends from Little River

Blueberry's Grill was founded by two close friends from Little River, South Carolina: a young restaurant operator and a U.S. veteran who spent his career selling commercial kitchen equipment across several states. One knew how to run a restaurant; the other spent a lifetime equipping kitchens. Together, they opened the first Blueberry's Grill.

What the
Community Says

The recognition we care about most comes from the people who eat with us. In The Sun News' 2026 Best of the Beach, Blueberry's Grill won Gold for Best Brunch and Bronze for Best Breakfast, decided by more than 163,000 community votes. It was our fifth consecutive year on the Best of the Beach podium. We were also named Best Breakfast in the Myrtle Beach Herald's 2026 Readers' Choice Awards, and Yelp named the North Myrtle Beach location to its Top 100 Brunch Spots in the U.S., #39 in 2023 and #41 in 2024. Those honors belong to our Grand Strand locations; in Wilmington, the proof is the regulars who keep coming back.
