The patio sits on the water at Barefoot Landing, right by the footbridge that links the two sides of the parking lot. Dogs are welcome, with a cold water bowl on request, and parking is free. Blueberry’s Grill at Barefoot Landing sits on the water at Barefoot Landing — boardwalk, shops, and water just outside the door. We serve made-to-order breakfast, brunch, and lunch.

The brand started with two close friends from Little River, South Carolina: a young restaurant operator and a U.S. veteran who’d spent his career in the restaurant equipment business. They opened the first Blueberry’s in Myrtle Beach in 2017 — named for the younger partner’s mother and her love of flowers and blueberry trees — and ran it on a few simple rules: fresh ingredients, treat everyone like a regular, rework the classics with care.The summer of 2018 brought that to North Myrtle Beach, on the water at Barefoot Landing. Same standards, different view.

The menu comes from Darell Ariola, Culinary Creative Consultant, who shapes the food across all three Blueberry's Grill locations and works as Kitchen Lead. It's the same brand-wide menu here at Barefoot Landing: blueberry pancakes and French toast, the Blueberry Hushpuppies, benedicts with house-made sauces, the skillets, made-to-order omelets, and lighter Mediterranean-leaning plates.Gluten-friendly and lactose-friendly substitutions are available.

Our Menu Philosophy

Everything’s cooked when you order it — nothing pre-made, nothing sitting around. Pancakes, omelets, the vegetable-forward plates: all fired to order. It takes a few minutes longer. That’s the trade, and it’s the right one.

There's a full bar built for brunch. Mimosas and Bloody Marys are the regulars, with fresh-squeezed juice, espresso, and 100% Colombian coffee for the daytime crowd, plus non-alcoholic options. A good place to wind down after a walk around Barefoot Landing.

His cooking leans on Southern comfort and coastal Carolina ingredients without getting fussy about it.A few things people order on repeat: Blueberry Hushpuppies (an original recipe), Charleston Shrimp& Grits, the benedicts with house-made sauces, the skillets, made-to-order omelets, and lighter bowls and Mediterranean plates for anyone eating a little cleaner. Gluten-friendly and lactose-friendly substitutions are available.

Plates are made when you order them. Nothing sits pre-made waiting to be reheated, which is the plain reason the food tastes the way it should. It costs a few extra minutes some mornings. Worth it.
