Blueberry’s Grill is run by a local team alongside a U.S. veteran co-owner, and has been part of Myrtle Beach brunch since 2017. Everything’s made from scratch and cooked to order, which is the whole reason it tastes the way it does.

This is where Blueberry’s Grill started. The Grande Dunes location opened in 2017 as the first of what’s now three restaurants, and it still sets the standard the others follow.

Our Story: Rooted in Little River, SC & Friendship

Blueberry’s Grill began with two close friends who met in Little River, South Carolina. One was a young restaurant operator. The other was a U.S. veteran who’d spent his whole career in the restaurant industry, selling commercial kitchen equipment across several states. They put that operating know-how and a lifetime around restaurants together and built a breakfast-and-brunch spot on the coast.The name came from the younger partner’s mother, who loved flowers and blueberry trees.

The idea was simple from day one:<ul><li>Use fresh, quality ingredients,</li><li>Treat every guest like a regular,</li><li> rework the classics with some care.</li></ul> That’s what opened in Myrtle Beach, and it’s what carried the brand to North Myrtle Beach in 2018 and Wilmington, NC in 2022.

About Us

The food comes from Darell Ariola, Culinary Creative Consultant, who shapes the menu across all three Blueberry’s Grill locations and runs point in the kitchen as Kitchen Lead. His cooking leans on Southern comfort and coastal Carolina ingredients without getting fussy about it.A few things people order on repeat:<ul><li> Blueberry Hushpuppies (an original recipe),</li><li>Charleston Shrimp & Grits,</li><li>the benedicts with house-made sauces,</li><li>the skillets,</li><li>made-to-order omelets,</li><li>lighter bowls and Mediterranean plates for anyone eating a little cleaner.</li></ul>Gluten-friendly and lactose-friendly substitutions are available.

Our Menu Philosophy

Plates are made when you order them. Nothing sits pre-made waiting to be reheated, which is the plain reason the food tastes the way it should. It costs a few extra minutes some mornings. Worth it.

There’s a full bar built for brunch. Mimosas and Bloody Marys are the regulars, with fresh-squeezed juice and 100% Colombian coffee if you’re keeping it daytime. Plenty of non-alcoholic options too.
